I just bought the firewire multimix8 today and I am very satisfied.. Not satisfied with those reviews? The second firewire port to connect an external HDD is also very useful. The only thing I need to carry by hand are the mic stands.

In short, it's ideal for tight budgets who wish to - mix live - record everything on multiple tracks - record rehearsals - and certainly many other applications, which I haven't tried out. Which can be a real pain with low-output mics. Did you try any other models before buying this one?

I had some confusion as gentleman below me with the main mix apesis ctrl room but you soon realize. I needed something that could record at least four tracks so I could record drums how I wanted to. The preamps start getting noisy halfway, but if you manage well, you shouldn't need to go beyond that. Especially it brings more heat to the sound.

I have a small amateur home studio and have a tonelab tube preamp and a multimlx tube MIC It was not grounded properly. So I have more than enough inputs. I have yet to sufficiently test the equalizer to speak I recommended it to a friend of mine who is also very happy with it.

Also I got a manual for Cubase which was more than helpful. This is the day and night My hp and my headphone is a new found youth. Fjrewire are 99 preset effects that are excellent but can not be set.

It lacks some clarity for beginners regarding some points, but it's nevertheless very useful.

Cot table mix, it is not trs diffrent other, and found its mark simmdiatement. It's prefect for a laptop with only one firewire mulitmix.

I like alfsis you can get a decent sound on the mixer then send it into the computer less mixing later None, just make sure your computer has a firewire port. What I like the most is the ease of use, the different inputs and its particularly short latency time.

The preamps aren't pro level by any means, but they sound good. Yes, a couple of models here and there Mulimix and rme soundcards.

I do not like: The hand-potentiomtres mix control room and tend to cut first the left lane when they are positioned low trs.

As I wrote above, I would probably buy the same series, but the model above, with more inputs. The breath that it introduces into the control room output can become audible in pushing the volume so high that any sound output explode your speakers, headphones and your ears by the same occasion.
